Art Exhibit at Old Planters Brewing Co.
Join poet and illustrator Helen Wurthmann at Old Planters Brewing Co. for the debut of her poetry series, “Heat Lightning.” Featuring 10 illustrated poems, Heat Lightning is a meditation on the tragic power and fickleness of memory at all stages of life. Each poem is digitally painted to capture emotion that moves beyond the written word.
Framed prints are for sale at the venue. Customers can pick up their art at the conclusion of the show on July 31, 2025. Additional loose print copies are available for purchase upon request by emailing wurthmannh@gmail.com.
